SNU Office of Research Affairs is pleased to announce the revised call for applications for Global SNU Research Partnership Platform. The announcement was modified to align with the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Education's collaborative initiative, "National Research Lab (NRL 2.0) Project", which aims to strengthen university's innovative research centers. The centers selected for this program will receive additional points in the university selection process for the NRL 2.0 project.

• Fields of Support: Areas that contribute to securing advanced national strategic technologies and addressing global challenges through international joint research centers with overseas institutions.
• Eligible Applicants: University-affiliated and college-affiliated research centers
  • Only one application per research center (See the attached document (pdf) for details.)
  • Institutions that do not meet the current conditions cannot apply.
• Support Requirements: Application must include plans for the following activities: ① MOUs with overseas partners (including establishing a joint research center), ② joint research (including at least one overseas partner), ③ international joint symposiums, and ④ other international collaboration activities
• Funding: Up to 100 million KRW * 5 institutions (Note: the number of selected institutions and funding may vary based on evaluation results)
• Process: Applications must be submitted by December 11, 2024. Selection will be finalized by the end of December based on a review of the application documents and presentations.
