연구처에서 본교 연구자들의 호라이즌 유럽 연구과제 성공적 수주를 위한 Seed Funding 사업을 아래와 같이 시행하오니, 소속 교원 및 연구원에게 안내하여 주시기 바랍니다.

1. 사업 개요: 현재 공고 진행 중인 과학기술정보통신부(한국연구재단) 「2026년도 한-EU 협력진흥사업 신규과제 공모」(링크) 미선정자를 대상으로 별도의 신청절차 없이 Seed Funding 지원 심사 후 선정

2. 지원 규모: 10개 과제 내외×20백만원 내외  ※ 한-EU 협력진흥사업: 30개 과제 내외×25백만원 내외

3. 연구 기간: 1년

4. 지원 내용: 호라이즌 유럽 참여를 위한 공동연구 및 사전 준비 활동 지원

5. 신청 및 선정 절차: 2026. 3. 27.(금) 14:00까지 한-EU 협력진흥사업 과제 신청(IRIS) → 4월 중 한국연구재단 선정평가, 최종 선정자는 5월 중 연구 개시(예정) → 5월 중 교내 미선정자 대상 연구처 선정평가*, 6월 중 연구 개시(예정)
          * 한국연구재단 과제 신청서류로 평가(연구처 추가 요구서류 없음)

SNU Office of Research Affairs (ORA) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the Horizon Europe Seed Funding Program. This initiative aims to support SNU researchers in their preparation to join the world’s largest multilateral research and innovation program.

The Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) have opened applications for 2026 Korea-EU Cooperation Promotion Project, aimed at fostering preliminary networking and project planning for Horizon Europe. Applications, submitted via the IRIS system, will close on 14:00, Friday, March 27 2026, with final selections (30 projects, 25M KRW each, for one year) announced by April.

For those not selected by the MSIT/NRF, SNU ORA will provide internal seed funding for up to 10 projects (20M KRW each, for one year). No additional application to SNU ORA is necessary, and funding decisions will be made by June (subject to change depending on potential delays in the NRF selection process).
